Part of my work on the contract with the Air Force Culture and Language Center was to create educational videos for their video library on the mobile app, Culture Guide. Generally, I would receive a script from aSubject Matter Expert (SME) and would develop visuals to go along with their materials. Once I had created my designs, I would collaborate with the SME to ensure the visuals were appropriate for the topic and conveyed the desired meaning. Then I would animate my designs and put the video together. These two videos are written and voiced by Dr. Kristin Bashir.
From these projects, I learned how to translate complex information into engaging visual designs that are both informative and easy to understand. Additionally, I developed my skills in video production, from conceptualizing and designing visuals to animating and assembling the final product.
