Spice Straws

As someone who enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, I have a cupboard overflowing with unusual spices, some of which I've only used once. This product I developed, Spice Straws, solves this problem. By providing everyday cooks with smaller amounts of spices that are affordable, it becomes attainable to fully explore new recipes.

The Spice Straws logo invokes the flower of a plant, connecting the spices to the plants they came from. The colors of Spice Straws are inspired by the variety and colors of the spices, and the patterns decorating the boxes are hand printed from various types of produce. In order to reduce the environmental impact, if Spice Straws were to be put into production it would use straws made of PLA (polylactic acid), a fully biodegradable product. (Due to availability, regular straws were used for proof of concept.)
